* What is Trichoderma? Why Use? Learn *
Trichoderma is one of the many useful fungi found in the soil. There are many species like Viridi, Harzanium. The characteristic of this fungus is that it grows very fast in the soil and does not allow any other pathogen (Phytophthora, Fusarium, Pythium, Rizoctonia etc.) to grow. Here are the reasons for this technique.
1) Grows faster than other fungi
2) As the fungus grows, some hormones are produced, thus destroying the harmful fungus.
3) Some of these hormones help in crop growth as nutrients (this is called biopriming).
4) This fungus grows on organic matter such as manure and leaves.
* In what form is Trichoderma available? *
Available in both liquid and powder form.
* Works on which crops and diseases? *
Chikku (Sapodilla), Mango, Coconut, Pomegranate, Grape, Citrus, all fruits, all other fruits and diseases like root rot, fruit rot, blackening of fruits. All kinds of vegetables e.g. Chili, eggplant, root vegetables, Schneider disease etc. Also Mogra (Arabian jasmine), Sonchafa, Jai, Zendu (Marigold, Tagetes erecta) etc. Cauliflower
* How to use? *
1) Fruits should be given from the soil once or twice a year. Quantity 2 liters per acre
2) When planting seedlings of vegetables and one year old flowers, the roots should be dipped or soaked with water after planting. Give twice a month. I do not know.
3) All crops in polyhouse
Quantity: 2 liters per acre
100 ml in 10 liters of water
* How to use *
1) Apply 200 kg of compost manure per acre, add 2 liters of tricoderma and a little water. Leave in the shade for eight days. This is when the fungus grows.
Then discard all the compost manure mixed with Tricoderma.
2) In the first eight days after planting of vegetables, apply 2 liters of Tricoderma per acre in 200 liters of water and apply 50 to 100 ml of this solution near the roots of each plant.
Or by drip system.
* When to pay? *
Give at the beginning of the rainy season, when the soil is moist. Do not give when the ground is hot in the sun.
Trichoderma should be used before the onset of the disease. Chemical fungicides should be used after the onset of the disease.
